Since 1996, GTA has produced theater festivals, productions and staged readings on both sides of the Atlantic, including New York, Düsseldorf and Berlin.
While we develop new forms of theatrical presentation for each project, all of our work is defined by three principles:

Contemporary Drama

GTA regards contemporary plays as a mirror of today’s reality. Translated into the vernacular language of the respective country, these texts form the core of our intercultural dialogue.

International Teams

GTA produces its theater in the country where the productions and festivals will be performed. Productive friction is the result of artists from different countries working together. This is the motor of our creative process.

Discussion

GTA seeks to communicate with the audience in all of its work. The conceptual and aesthetic framework of each project serves as an invitation to become a part of the event and participate in the conversation.
