Birgit Lengers (Dramaturg)
studied theater, film and cultural studies in Cologne and Hildesheim. She taught at the University of Hildesheim from 1997 to 2002. Lengers continues to teach at many instutions, including the Berlin University of the Arts. She is a correspondent for the "Kulturmanagement Network" and deputy chair of the German Dramaturgical Society. She has worked as a dramaturg for GTA since the fall of 2004 and was an active member of the producing team in the conception and realization of "Stadttheater New York".
