Daniel Brunet (Associate Director / Associate Producer)
studied theater and film at Boston College. Brunet moved to Berlin in 2001 and began his directing career with the support of a Fulbright grant. Following a site-specific production of ”subUrbia” in a vacant lot in East Berlin, he was the 2003 Director in Residence at the English Theater Berlin, where he also founded and curated their development series, the Lab. He returned to the United States in 2004, where he, alongside numerous directing projects, served as Associate Producer of "Stadttheater New York". Now based in both Brooklyn and Berlin, Brunet has worked for GTA since 2002 and is an experienced translator of contemporary German drama.
